Feeding Guidelines:
Feeding requirements will vary with breed, environment, age and activity level. Monitor your dog's weight and adjust their feed as needed. Feeding twice daily is recommended (splitting the total daily amount below in half at each feeding), and always have fresh, clean water available. When switching diets, it is recommended to transition over a 5-7 day period, increasing the ratio of the new food each day versus the present diet to avoid digestive disturbances.
Daily serving size for adult dogs:
- 1-5 lb dog - 1/8 to 1/2 cup
- 10-15 lb dog = 3/4 to 1 cups
- 30-40 lb dog = 1 1/2 to 1 7/8 cups
- 50-60 lb dog = 2 1/8 to 2 1/2 cups
- 70-80 lb dog = 2 3/4 to 3 cups
- 80-100 lb dog = 3 to 3 1/2 cups
Divide the amount shown into 2 feedings daily. Add approx. 1/4 cup (26 g) for every 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) over 100 lbs. (45 kg) daily feeding.
