Willow - Bernese Mountain Dog

Our first "Berner" and original store greeter, Willow tried her best to make it to her 10th birthday (a ripe old age for a Bernese Mountain Dog). She lost her fight against a blood disorder on June 26th, 2008.

Willow was an up-tempo girl who loved coming to the store, sampling treats, sleeping right in the middle of the floor like a rug - and most of all, greeting our customers. She gave a lifetime worth of unconditional love and will be sorely missed by her family and the Northwest Pets team.

Teddy - Bernese Mountain Dog

We brought Teddy home when Willow was three years old. A handsome and loveable goofball to the core, "Mr. T" (among his countless nicknames) loved squeaky toys, bouncing around the family room after the vacuum cleaner, licking ice cream bowls and laying his big noggin on any lap available.

Teddy finished his AKC championship a few months before his third birthday and was just about the best buddy that you could imagine. He lost a four month battle with canine lymphoma on July 24, 2008, a few months shy of his 7th birthday. We miss you so much, Ted - you went way too soon. Our house may be empty, but our hearts are full of great memories of you and Willow.
